The Babylon Massage (CLOSED)

Been going to Babylon for decades including the former location. The massages I've gotten from a half dozen different guys over the years have always been good. But in the past year the training seems to have improved, and the three different masseurs I've experienced have all clearly received training in "conventional" massage. I've usually gone for the 500 baht, hour oil massage; a couple times 90 mins. All were good, and erotic, even during the period years ago when they posted a sign saying no erotic massage, hand job, etc., which I now figure was for some sort of legal purpose. Signs gone now. Of the different gay massage places, Babylon has for me been the most consistent in quality. AND, no minimum tip required. Also, none of the masseurs I've experienced have asked in advance for a tip, much less a specific amount, like masseurs in many other parlours - gay and mixed. That's been my experience. So don't be kiniau (stingy) when it comes to tips. I prefer private cubes to Babylon's drawn curtain dividers. But usually get my massage early, so seem to get one of their more privately located areas.

The massage was really good! Firm and strong with great rhythm. Sensual but not sexual; gets you in the mood for the sauna. 1000B for 1 hour before tip is kinda pricey though.

Had several massages in January and another today, 24 February. Both men were very good at massage and I will be back again tomorrow. Sure there is a little bit of passing touch but do not go for a happy ending but for a professional massage. The 90 minute oil is 800 THB but they will try & upsell you for the 1,500 version but there is no need to pay this. Massage table is in a shared space but I have never had another person being massaged on the other side of the curtain.

Forget the massage at Babs - they put no effort whatsoever into have a trained and attentive massage staff. You are much better off for a good massage at the Malaysia Hotel or Magic Hands. Babs is great for other things, just not its massage and spa.

Best place and best massage I ever had in my life. I went several days for the massage and I have to say thank you to the guy that made me the massage. I met him 3 times (Phan I think his name) - magic strong hands. Then, when I was there again I could not find him and had a massage by another guy. It was good, but Phan is the best! I'll remember his hand for all my life! The place is clean and the guys are really professional. I hope to come back soon and meet my favorite masseur again.

I went to the old Babylon Spa about 12 years ago so I thought it was going to be the same one, but this one is fairly new - a different location. The pool was one of the best things about this place although it was very clean, relatively nice but it was built for style and not for your personal comfort. After going to some of the other saunas and spas in Bangkok, I can honestly say, I doubt if I'll be making a return visit to Babylon. Two stars.
